Army Intelligence

(U.S. Army Intelligence) - Intelligenc e United States Army. Military Intelligence Service (Military Int elligence - MI), U.S. Army officially established in 1885 as the Division of Military Information MID. The origins of intelligence back to U.S. ground forces in 1776. Then the young officer, Captain Nathan Hale volunteered to spy for the implementation of the mission (identification) at the rear of the British troops involved in Long Island. The aim of the mission was to include estimate the force of British troops.
